The last weekend of January,  our newly elected officers for each position traveled to Atlanta, GA for SigEp’s annual leadership conference aptly named the Carlson Leadership Academy.  Each officer will get position-specific training which each officer can better use to benefit the chapter and the community. 

Each brother was placed into tracks with brothers from other chapters, but that shared the same officer position.  Using a variety of methods, the groups learned more ways to help grow the fraternity as well as run each chapter efficiently. 

The biggest event of our weekend however, came at the end during the awards banquet when current Junior Matthew Shuma was one of five Tragos quest scholars chosen to attend a trip to Greece later this year!

The brothers enjoyed spending a weekend with themselves and other chapters and look forward to next year’s Carlson!
